PoketMechs was a prototype for a side scrolling action game that was in development at Puppybomb Games in 2004, but sadly the project was cancelled, maybe because they did not find a publisher interested in the game.

Cyber Clash is a cancelled action game that was in development by Crystal Dynamics for the 3DO. We would have play the role of a cyberspace hacker, to combat into virtual arenas with a tank-alike vehicles, in first person view. A 2 players coop mode was planned too and every vehicle available was able to morph into 2 different forms, with unique close and long-range weapons. A video preview of the game was even added in the “Sample This!” 3DO CD Demo, but in the end Cyber Clash was never released for unknown reasons.
Thanks to Celine for the contribution! Scans from EGM #64 and GamePro #67.

The Executives was an action game in development in 2003 for the Playstation 2 by The Collective studios, that was going to be published by Midway. The game was never officially announced and it was cancelled during the early stages of development. Only some screenshots and concept arts remains from the project
It’s interesting to note that in some of these concepts, the title of the game was changed to “Career Criminal”. A title which was also used for an internally developed but also cancelled Midway game (see “Career Criminal”, a cancelled Xbox 360 / PS3 game). That project was started soon after the efforts of The Collective were cancelled.

P.I.D. (Private Investigator Dollarally) was a top-down driving/adventure game created by Finnish developers Terramarque (now known as Housemarque), set for release on the PC in December 1994. It may also have been intended for release on the Amiga, considering the developer’s history of developing for the system. For unknown reasons, the game was cancelled.
The single screenshot of the game in its preview in Games World Issue 6 shows that the game used a similar visual style to the early Grand Theft Auto games, and the description suggests that the open-ended structure was similar too; players assumed the role of a private investigator trying to survive and make money while avoiding the police in the fictional land of Muhmulandia.

Time Traveler is an action game that was in development in 2003 / 2004 at Sensory Sweep Studios. From the only video that remains from the project it seems that the player would have been able to go back in time to the Titanic disaster, to change the history. It’s currently unknown if the Titanic was the scenario for only one of the various levels of the game, or if all the missions would have been set in the famous sinking ship. This project could have also been a proposal concept for an early Playstation 3 game, with a prototype build created on their PS2 engine.
