Amped 4 [X360/PS3 – Cancelled]

Amped 4 [X360/PS3 – Cancelled]

Amped was once a highly successful snowboarding series. After releasing Amped 3 in late 2005, developer Indie Built was busily working on Amped 4 and Links 2007. Both games were cancelled when the studio was closed in April 2006.

While the Amped series was formerly exclusive to Microsoft consoles, Amped 4 was going to be published on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Major additions included a resort community and technical improvements.

I really wish they’d make Amped 4! Amped 1 was my first Xbox game, along with PGR. Amped 2 is easily in my top 3 games of all time, (I own over 100 games) it’s just just sublime – hugely relaxing and satisfying to play, it had perfect controls, great course designs and rock solid gameplay. I’m finally getting Amped 3 in a few weeks time. I would die with joy if Amped 4 were to be announced! (Keep the Amped 2 dual stick controls though!)

The guys that did skate series should make that game. Amped 1 and 2 along with espn winter xgames snowboarding was by far the best snowboard games of all time. Forget about shaun white snowboarding and ssx those are not snowboard games to be polite. PLEASE SOMEONE OUT THERE DO AMPED 4. It will sell like fresh bread at the grocery store on a sunday morning.

xbone will die off eventually. Amped4 could make a difference to its legacy. Steep and Mark Mcmorris Infinite air are not even close to the same fun factor Amped2/3 delivered! Also a PC version would be greatly welcomed.
