Factor 5 were working on a Superman game for Brash Entertainment, but after Brash went out of business in november 2008, the project was probably cancelled. It was going to be released for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
During development, the game had the project title “Blue Steel”, whereas one of their Wii titles was called “Blue Harvest”.

I’m sure that there were some serious reasons why this game was cancelled, and sadly it was not F5′s fault

Very sad news. After so many bombs in the past was really looking forward to a good Superman game. Hopefully someone will pickup the pieces and continue with this.

After the success of the Batman game, we hunger for a tough gritty Superman game. The John Byrne Superman, not this god they’ve remade him into again. Doomsday, Luthor, Bizzarro, Grundy! Bring’em on. If done right, a smash hit. Key word. DONE RIGHT!

THEY CANCELLED IT BECAUSE THEY WANTED TO KEEP THE TRADITION OF BAD SUPERMAN GAMES GOING…..IF CRYSIS AND OTHER GAMES CAN GET THIS HUGE BUDGET AND MAKE A GREAT GAME THEN WHY NOT SUPERMAN…OR THEY MADE A GOOD BATMAN GAME WHY NEVER SUPERMAN…OR ANY OTHER CHARACTER

i think that the same guys that did batman arkham island and arkham city should do the superman game they got batman to a ‘T’ so i think they could the same with superman as they did with batman.

I’m a big fan of superman and the games, but I really got disappointed when I found out you canceled this one. Please don’t give up on the project it looks like you’ve got the right idea. Try teaming up with the company that created BATMAN Arkham City or something. Just don’t leave it like this it’s two good of an idea to leave it like that.

There is no excuse for giving up on the Superman video game. Its more than just a video game. Its something that will inspire millions of people if done on par with Batman Arkum city. This is a game that will make millions if time and thought is put into it. But we can probably count on someone to make a low budget piece of crap that is based off the movie. If its based off the movie people wont take it serious thus a lot less money will be made.To all you people who develop and create games, you know what a good game looks like. Use Batman arkhum city as a reference. Do not make the game like superman returns. Even though the flight aspect of that game was actually OK. the graphics were crap and the movement of the man of steel felt like Grand theft AUto, Which is wrong.

REALLY ! Your gonna let some as Awsome as this games go out as an epic fail because some clowns couldn’t pay their electric bills. You should find the proper investors. I saw the previews, this game would be a blockbuster & you know it friend. I hope you don’t let us down. I’m a true fan of your work and I hope you reconsider.
