Sure you know the movie “The mummy”, released on theatres ( and even if you don’t know it, who cares, here we talk about the game). The mummy promised an adventure similar to Tomb Raider, with riddles and puzzles to resolve, combats against mummies and the likes. The gamer plays as Rick O’Connell, the main character of the movie. However the DC version was never released while the PS1 and GBC ones did as planned. Rumors says that the DC version was cut in favor to the Mummy Returns for PS2 which was planned to be released at the same time of the movie’s DVD release.

The Mummy prometteva un’avventura sulla falsariga di Tomb Raider, con enigmi e puzzle da risolvere, combattimenti contro mummie varie e affini. Il giocatore impersonava Rick O’Connell, il protagonista del film. Tuttavia la versione per DC non uscì mai, mentre quelle per PlayStation e Game Boy Color, uscirono regolarmente. Si dice che la versione per DC sia stata tagliata in favore del gioco The Mummy Returns per PS2, che doveva uscire in contemporanea con il DVD del film.[/spoiler]
