Sure you know the movie “The mummy”, released on theatres ( and even if you don’t know it, who cares, here we talk about the game). The mummy promised an adventure similar to Tomb Raider, with riddles and puzzles to resolve, combats against mummies and the likes. The gamer plays as Rick O’Connell, the main character of the movie. However the DC version was never released while the PS1 and GBC ones did as planned. Rumors says that the DC version was cut in favor to the Mummy Returns for PS2 which was planned to be released at the same time of the movie’s DVD release.

previewed in Jan 2001 issue of DC-UK/DC version was supposed to feature nice light sourcing and detailed textures to showcase DC power.

Looking at press scan i sent you of the DC version..game was going to be a blatant Tomb Raider clone with mini games and they warn it needed series reworking to not be anything but dissapointing.
Looks like no loss then.
