In 2007 NamcoBandai asked Kuju Entertainment to work on a successor of their GBA game Rebelstar, for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. The game was set in the near future and was about an Alien army attacking Earth. The game was cancelled when NamcoBandai decided to allocate their resources to other projects.

Loved the GBA game, would of loved to have seen a game on PS3/360…

Considering Kuju’s history with the Battalion Wars series, I like to think they would’ve found a way to inject more action/shooting gameplay into this. Not enough devs try to marry strategy and shooting, but man, when it works well, it’s awesome (just look at Battlezone, Urban Assault or Uprising… or Battalion Wars 2)
