An open-beta of Little Big Planet (one of the most interesting PS3 games in development) was planned for release on the PlayStation Network, but now it seems that Media Molecule scrapped this idea, and we will have to wait for the final version to play the game. Betafans are sad, they knows that beta versions are better than the final thing (not really).
“However both Sam Bennett (Community Development Manager) and Pete Smith (Producer) maintained that a public, open beta will sadly not be happening. The game will go through a beta phase, obviously, but this will be performed by an internal group at Sony.”
