War on Wheels was a roller skating game by Jaleco. The game supported a two players mode, and like Road Rash it was possible to beat up your opponents. WoW was even reviewed by some magazines, but at the end it got canceled.

This would have been the first roller derby video game. and no, rollergames on the NES does not count. that game was nothing more than a beat em up on skates in the veins of WWF betrayal and double dragon. the only game that truly replicates the gameplay of Rollergames is Rollergames on the arcade.
