The Beta Quests are events and scenarios not seen in the game, but that can be reached with Action replay/Game Shark codes. There is an incredible number of variants in the beta quests, and probably no one has really seen them all, so we can only wonder if there is still more stuff left in the cartridge. Some of these Beta Quest scenes are situations connected with the new features that would have been in Zelda URA, while in others it’s still possible to see some of the items cut in the transposition from disk to cartridge, or particulary situations that were changed a bit in the final version. Certainly a precious source of information of beta Zelda.

    translation:

More than a game itself, the Beta Quest are new situations and scenarios that you can unlock in Ocarina Of Time, by means of codes for Action Replay / Game Shark. There are many variations of Beta Quest under the code inserted and probably still no one was able to really explore them all, then we can not yet know what wonders are hidden within the Roma. Some of these are the links that would be released once united Ocarina to URA through 64DD, while in others you can see objects that were cut when it was moved to cartridge or situations not final scene then changed the game completely. Without doubt one of the most interesting things that are worth using GameShark and a valuable source of information on cuts of Ocarina.

Thanks for the translation superfun64 :) I’ll fix that and use it as the new description!
