The Roots was an action RPG developed by Polish developer Tannhauser Gate which was to be published by Cenega Publishing.
A portable version of The Roots was released for the Nokia N-Gage, with less detailed graphic and probably different gameplay. Thanks to Al Carlson for this information!

Looks like a nice fable killer . sad that such games wasnt released . =(
Xbox versions gameplay was meant to be a mix if real-time fighting and spellcasting, with several mini-games thrown in, including Balloncraft:an arcade style race and a puzzler called Trion.
