From what I can see the most notable beta elements are in the first two and last two pictures. Firstly, the game is called “Ghouls ‘n Ghost 3” instead of Super Ghouls ‘n Ghosts. Also in the first two images is a number of removed enemies and items. The troll-like enemies with clubs are not in the game, nor is the vine creature coming from the face tower. Also the large pot in the corner is not in the final game either. In the last two images it appears Arthur is wearing a beta version of the green armor(known as the bronze armor). It has a color scheme similar to the final bronze armor, but the design resembles the gold armor, except it is missing the shield and hair from the helmet. It’s strange these elements were changed/removed considering the magazine says it was 80% complete, but if I had to guess this version looks similar to the second Ghouls ‘n Ghost game and they changed it to make it more of it’s own game.
