I owned this game and purchased it at a local store in toronto. Acclaim was the publisher.
Heck I may still have it in storage.. lol
I found it a better game then Brett Hull’s Hockey which this game used the same engine but played better.
So this game was released? :O I dont understand why it’s labeled as cancelled in various websites :( http://www.allgame.com/game.php?id=7460
Actually it wasn’t Acclaim that published it .. it was Accolade but yeah.. i had a boxed copy and played it quite frequently..
Accolade released: Brett Hull Hockey (SNS-5Y-USA) (1993) & Brett Hull Hockey ’95 (SNS-ABHE-USA) (1995)
The game was developed by Radical Entertainment and published by the sports division of Accolade. It is the sequel to the original Brett Hull Hockey. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brett_Hull_Hockey_'95)

RHI was NEVER released. Check http://nintendo.wikia.com/wiki/RHI_Roller_Hockey_95
BUT there is a Proto flying arround. http://www.oldgamesfinder.com/?m=9&q=RHI%20Roller%20Hockey%2095
BTW, RHI Roller Hockey 95 was originally leaked on a BBS back in the mid 90s. So similar to Brett Hull Hockey it was thought to be a hack! (https://twitter.com/snescentral/status/657594041270444032)
Publisher: American Softworks / Developer: Radical Entertainment (http://www.ign.com/games/rhi-roller-hockey-95/snes-854953)

The league inspired at least one video game, Super Nintendo’s RHI Roller Hockey ’95, although the game was never released. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roller_Hockey_International#Licensing)
