So I take it there’s next to nothing about this game’s development?
Apart from this single screen from a tech demo, i don’t have much more :( Maybe there’s something out there, if we search hard enough
This tech demo is clearly beyond the capabilities of the PSX. it was likely a pre-rendered demo of what Exact intended to create with Jumping Flash on PSX. There is likely actually no playable of this or the Labyrinth/Legend demo as in that video you can see the actor is playing along with pre-recorded video.
A further comment that in Edge #9 this footage was shown on Japanese TV as a “realtime demo” however this was so early in May/June 1994 (print date June 1994) that the PS-X as it was called at the time didnt even have an official product name.
Its a year before the release of Jumping Flash in Japan also so i’d put money on this being a pre-recorded CGI demo.
