The game was set in roman times in Gaul, player leading the revolt against them.
In some magazines it was announced to be published on PS2, also, set to release in 2002.
The game’s name was later changed to Dark Shores. Once the name changed, it was no longer an Xbox exclusive. A PS2/PC release was in development.
More information from a French website:
“La société Sidhe Interactive vient d’annoncer que le projet de faire un jeu basé sur la licence cinématographique de Druid King venait d’être abandonné au profit d’un nouveau titre Xbox intitulé Dark Shores. Inspiré cette fois de la mythologie irlandaise le scénario a donc entièrement été réécrit et même si le travail déjà effectué sur le premier projet servira de base à ce nouveau titre tout est pratiquement à refaire.”
