200 years have passed since the ninja of feudal Japan disappeared into the mists of legend, but in the endless shadows of present day New York, a small clan has secretly dwelled, merging invisibly with the throng of the city’s citizens, going to school, taking jobs and trying to blend in to modern society while practicing and teaching their ancient art to no one but themselves. The sudden murder of an elder of their clan forces the remaining ninja to investigate the crime. What they discover is an ancient blood feud that will pit them against the Yakuza, the Triad and a secret clan of rogue ninja that has forsaken the ways of their ancestors in a battle that will pit modern technology against ancient arts.
