LOBO is a cancelled fighting game that was meant to be released for the Super Nintendo and the Sega Mega Drive / genesis,  settled up in the DC Comics’ LOBO universe. Ocean was planning to release this in 1996, but it was cancelled for both platforms at the last minute. A prototype of the game was found by the SegaSaturno community and they released it with the help of Hidden Palace! You can download this playable beta in here.

Ocean originally announced Lobo for the Amiga 1200 back around Summer 1992.

I’d question if any actual work was done it though.

Forwarded on a magazine feature on Ocean Manchester.

Has new Lobo, Waterworld and HMS Carnage screens.

Diehard GameFan magazine seem to be the source of a lot of these Lost Jaguar game rumors.

Reporting one month that Ocean were bringing The Shadow to Jaguar CD, changing that to Lobo the month after.

Claiming Lobo was to be a Scavenger 4 type affair, silicon graphics rendered backgrounds etc.

Team awaiting Jaguar CD specs before proceeding.

Apeshit was to have the best scrolling on any computer (erm, Jaguar was a console)

Battlezone 2000 was being done by Hand Made Software.
