Edge commented on the Future City demo (Sept’98 issue) saying final DC titles would have at least another 500,000 polygons to play with, the many particle-generated fires being of particular note, lighting effects being superb and easily created via the PowerVR 2G Chipset running on Seg’s set 4, 40% power development kit.

Set 4 being a newer, more powerful development kit capable of 600,000 polys per sec with all effects turned on.Final set, set was already in hands of Jap.developers.All companies would recieve Set 2 dev.kits (around 25% of DC’s final technical abilities) for FREE, with Sega retaining ownership of them, and Sega could take them back if games shown were’nt of high enough standard.

Set 5 Sega were expected to charge around US $6,000 though the version designed for Graphics artists was expected to cost less.
