Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings [X360/PS3 – Cancelled]

In 2005, LucasArts announced a new Indiana Jones game for next-generation consoles. Originally scheduled for a release in 2007, the game saw constant delays as a result of internal struggles. Due to severe quality issues, it was decided to cancel the project in early 2009. Only externally developed versions for Wii, PS2, DS and PSP saw a release.

When first shown, LucasArts highlighted Indiana Jones as their first game on Xbox 360 and PS3 – with a story written by George Lucas himself. Set in 1939, the player was going to  

Indiana Jones and the Staff of Moses [PSP – Not Cancelled]

Indiana Jones and the Staff of Moses was a PSP title developed by Amaze Entertainment in 2006/2007. While it was planned to coincide with the release of LucasArts’ internally made PS3/Xbox 360 game “Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings”, which was cancelled in early 2009. Additionally, a Wii, PS2 and NDS version of “Staff of Kings” are in developement by A2M, but it’s currently unknow if parts of Moses will be reused for Kings.

Update: On January 23, 2009 an official trailer revealed that the game would come out in the Spring of 2009 for the Wii, Nintendo DS, PlayStation Portable, and PlayStation 2. The Wii, Nintendo DS, PlayStation Portable, and PlayStation 2 versions had been concurrently developed by Artificial Mind and Movement (the exception being the PSP version, which was instead developed by Amaze Entertainment) and had not faced the same delays.
