Valkyria Chronicles (aka Battlefield Valkyria: Gallian Chronicles in Japan) is a tactical j-rpg developed by SEGA and released for  Playstation 3 in 2008. In the screens below,we can see a beta version of the map and of the HUD.

this game exists in jap/eng on ps3 and its awesome.
the sequel is only on psp.
