I just wanted to say how much I enjoy this website. As for Guy Savage, I played it thinking it was more of a insight into a later Metal Gear title maybe related to Grey Fox or Raiden (as I didn’t get to play MGS3 until MGS4 was announced). Now knowing what little we do about the next MG title, maybe this gameplay style will make a comeback in the story of Raiden?

I don’t know if this is actually what happened, but if you compare this early version of Guy Savage to the Konami game Nanobreaker, which was released a year later, you’re sure to notice some gameplay similarity. I would guess that Guy Savage was actually reworked into Nanobreaker.
