MDK is a third-person shooter game developed by Shiny Entertainment and released in 1997 by Playmates Interactive Entertainment for the PC, Macintosh, and subsequently PlayStation. MDK’s gameplay is usually a third person shooter, except when sniper mode is entered. As expected, Kurt has a wide range of weapons to choose from, which differ in standard gameplay and sniper mode. That concept video had a pretty neat intro that I’d never seen before, but the remaining footage was all included on the MDK disc as the prerendered attract footage, if I recall correctly. I believe it was on the PS1 version as well, but I can’t check at the moment.
All the same, I’m glad he put it up on youtube (even if just for the little 2d teaser portion referencing their earlier work on Genesis and SNES). Great find.
