Some things should be added:

- Great was replaced with Awesome when getting a streak singing.

- There is no "You Win" after you beat a song in the final product.

- The guitarist highway wasn't blue during the solo like in the finished game, as well as the solo percentage HUD (You put that, but I wanted to add the blue highway portion.

This is judging from the first video at the top. Anyway, I am so glad we have the Rock Band we have now compared to that. The notes looked like a mess on the highway at some parts.

I had an opportunity to play a build of Rock Band at PAX 2007 and had to share what I found different with the final build of the game.

The notes that filled your overdrive meter were bland and gray instead of glowing. Also, when you engaged your overdrive, the "highway" the notes appeared on would catch on fire and every note you hit would send plumes of smoke and debris off of the sides. It was a really cool effect, but honestly, I could see why they'd take it out given the real estate of the screen would be taken up by overlapping bursts of smoke everywhere making it all too "busy".

Here's a preview I wrote, just to show I'm not blowing smoke of my own :).
