First, the beta enemy is called a Tramplin Stu.

Second, the enemy is in the test level, but it's graphics are screwed up. You can tell by this video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zAoQAkxhivc

and by the pictures of it here:

http://wiki.rustedlogic.net/Super_Mario_Sunshine

I have two theories of how it got screwed up.

1. The Tramplin Stu in the test level and one shown to us by Zeek are two seperate models. The one used in the test level is a one with screwed up graphics, but the one Zeek showed us is not used in the level at all. I can't check if this theory is true because I don't have the iso.

2. The Gamecube's hardware. There is only one model of the Tramplin Stu, but the game or hardware doesn't load it correctly.

Third, it was supposed to wear the unused skull helmet, as determined by their filenames. Look at the post made by Zeek, and the filenames for the Tramplin Stu and the helmet are identical.

Lastly, the test level is in the PAL version of the game, but lots of stuff was taken out, including the Tramplin Stu.
